Hair-raising Halloween happenings at Union Street

Join us October 31 for a spooktacular menu, treats for your little monsters & staff pumpkin carving

It’s the time of year when things get a little spooky for us. We LOVE Halloween and there’s always a monstrous amount of fun going on. Our friendly staff loves to dress-up, so come see what crazy costumes we come up with—we’d love to see yours! This year, our Halloween happenings include:

  • Treats. At 4pm we’ll be ready for all  those small-costumed characters wandering up and down 5th street in search of candy.
  • Carving. During the Halloween parade, our staff will be carving up some pumpkins to put on display when the lights go down. All of our pumpkins were hand-picked from Shamrock Farms in Comox.
  • Food. A haunting Halloween dinner menu will be served on both sides from 5pm – 9pm.

Plus, there’s a whole lot of fun going on at the Courtenay Library, Lewis Centre, and Games and Grounds. Click here for all the details, and be sure to check out the haunted house over at The LINC from now until October 31.

Union Street Grill & Grotto is serving up a Haunting Halloween menu

For your mini monsters or served up as an appetizer before the main course, we have some frightengly fabulous Mummy Sticks to start you off. A simple halloween twist to our infamous cheese sticks,  our spooky Mummy Sticks are served with house-made bloody marinara sauce.

You have your choice of one of two dangerously delicious main dishes:

SLIMEY BLOODY SALMON
Charbroiled sockeye salmon with a haunted green slime cream sauce served with roasted bloody beets and our lemon herb quinoa.

FISH EYE PASTA
Linguine nestled in a lemon garlic cream sauce with fresh snapper, fish eyes(olives), and tomatoes.

Call us at 250-897-0081 to reserve yourself a space at our terrifying table on Monday, October 31.

Happy Halloween!
