Local art on display at Union Street Grotto

It’s true, we’ve got art happening on the Grotto side! We’re excited to showcase new work from local artist and outdoor enthusiast Andrew Talbot.

Come join us Friday, November 6 for an evening filled with local art, music, drinks and tapas. The fun starts at 7pm!

About Andrew Talbot

Andrew grew up exploring and photographing Vancouver Island. Inspired by years of surfing, hiking and kayaking the rugged and beautiful West Coast, his canvases offer a glimpse into all corners of Vancouver Island.

Andrew Talbot artworkAndrew’s really excited to showcase some new pieces in our space. He’ll have original work, prints on
canvas, greeting cards and magnets for sale. And he’s donating 10% of all sales for the night to the Raincoast Foundation. They’re currently in court fighting Enbridge’s Northern Gateway Pipeline.

That’s not all! We’ve also got local folk artist Amy Mulion playing an acoustic set, followed by local DJ’s laying down some beats. And, we’re offering tapas and drink specials all night long!

Don’t worry if you can’t make it down for opening—we’ll miss you, but you’ve got options! Andrew’s art will be displayed at the Grotto until the end of January 2016.
